The Mass Effect series is a trilogy of action-RPGs that combine storytelling, exploration, and character development. These games and the Dragon Age series, products of company BioWare, are incredibly popular and successful.
To gain EXP this week, you will need to do more than just play the games. You will need to work together as a class to complete the lengthy comprehension quiz. I do not expect any student to finish the quiz alone. I am also certain that many laptops will have problems running the demos, so please find a partner or group of three with at least one computer that can play the game.

On the "How to" page, you will find links so that you can download these demos. This week, it is incredibly important that you work together. There are action sequences in these games and decisions to make about what your character says. If you are working with a partner, discuss which options you want to choose before making any decisions.

Below, you will see the experience points and quests available during this week. Remember, you need to reach Level 4 this week. This means that every person in the class must reach 600 EXP.

Main Quest: Complete the comprehension exercise. Side Quest 1: Earn 100 EXP for writing a blog post about one of the games from this week. Secondary Quest: Earn 25 EXP for every correct answer on the comprehension exercise. If you are working in partners or a group, all members earn 25 EXP for a correct answer. |
