Use of “ANY”
Употребление “Any”
We use “any” with “there aren’t”.
“Any” употребляется в отрицательной и иногда в вопросительной формах для выражения понятия “никакой” /“какой-нибудь”
- There aren’t any children here.
- There aren’t any iPads on the table.
- There aren’t any restaurants here.
- Здесь нет (никаких) детей.
- На столе нет (никаких) книг.
- Здесь нет (никаких) ресторанов.
