The frequency adverb goes before the main verb (except the main verb “TO BE”).
O advérbio de frequência vem antes do verbo principal (exceto antes do verbo principal “TO BE”).
- I usually go shopping on Saturday.
- We never eat breakfast before 9 on Sunday.
- Ana often walks to school.
- The teacher always gives us homework.
- Bill and Kate are never late for school.
- I’m usually with friends on Friday night.
Occasionally, sometimes, often, frequently and usually can also go at the beginning or end of a sentence.
“Occasionally", "sometimes", "often", "frequently” e “usually” também podem vir no início e no final da frase.
- Sometimes they watch television.
- They watch television sometimes.
- I play basketball occasionally.
- Occasionally I play basketball.
