In this unit, you will prepare a 5-10 minute oral presentation to present in front of the class.
- The International Cultural Exhibition (I.C.E.) is a two-week festival of cultural diversity celebrating the unique food, art, and traditions from around the globe. Each year, the I.C.E. is hosted in a different city, showcasing the local cuisine and customs. It is a draw for tourists and industry professionals alike.
- Put together a Google Docs presentation describing your city and explaining why it would be a worthy candidate to host such an exhibition. What can your city offer the I.C.E and/or how can this exhibition help your city?
- If several students in your class are from the same city, and your instructor allows it, you can present a city other than your hometown, focusing on why you specifically chose such a city to host a two-week cultural event.
