Work with a partner or group and discuss answers to the following questions:
- Is there anything subliminal about how products are displayed in supermarkets that makes you want to buy?
- Do you often buy things at supermarkets without having actually intended to buy them when entering the store? If so, why did you buy them?
- Do you belong to a customer loyalty program? Do you own any ‘frequent shopper’ cards? What are the benefits? Are there any benefits to the store?
