What Did They Do?Students write a paragraph about activities that they did the previous day. Students use a variety of different verbs and time expressions about the past. A class speaking activity comparing what they did is included for further practice. |

Last weekendA listening activity based five on short dialogues. Students listen to people talking about the weekend and what they did using the past simple. Students complete a matching activity to demonstrate an understanding of the dialogues. |
