Often, we write an apostrophe (‘) with s to mean is:
- The weather’s very good.
- It’s sunny very often here.
- He’s really good at basketball.
- The weather is very good.
- It is sunny very often here.
- He is really good at basketball.
Look at the following examples. The apostrophe and s do not mean is. Do you know this other meaning?
- My school’s name is Gonzaga University.
- The team’s name is the Bulldogs.
- The cafe’s Internet is really fast.
