Objectives & Sequence: This activity is intended to be used as a review of Grammar - Apostrophe + S.
- Students work with a partner. Each partner opens the corresponding tab.
- Students are to make sentences about the relationships as illustrated by the family tree.
- On each tab, students are presented with five names. For each of these names, students must ask their partner, "Who is ...?" Partners reply by describing the person's relationship(s) with others in the family.
- Suggested answers are provided in the form of audio recordings.
Example
- On Student One's page:

- Student One asks, "Who is Duncan?"
- Student Two looks at the family tree and describes Duncan's relationships.
- Student Two replies, "Duncan is Elizabeth's husband. He's Stanley's father. He's Michelle, Sarah, and Lee's uncle."
