You will be able to
- enhance listening skills by watching and listen and repeat examples of making polite requests;
- pronounce and use polite requests such as Can you…, could you.., would you.., if it's okay with you, etc. with appropriate intonation;
- compare the use of intonation and polite requests in your language(s) with English;
- make and respond positively and negatively to polite requests;
- demonstrate listening comprehension and a knowledge of basic writing conventions by completing dictations of several sentences;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
