Students work in pairs and take turns asking questions presented in the following pages:
- How were your schools when you were growing up? Did you have good schools? What about teachers?
- Do you know anyone who didn't go to school? Did they quit? Did they study at home?
- How big is your family?
- Where did you learn the most when you were growing up? School or at home?
- Who is the craziest person in your family? Why?
- How has your family influenced your life?
- Do you often spend time with your family?
- What would you do if you were a mother or father and found out you had cancer?
- When do people usually get married in your country?
- Do all of the members of your family live close together? Do you know everyone in your family?
- When you are retired, where do you want to live?
- Are sons and daughters expected to take care of their parents in your country?
