description Exercise
Do you have good balance? Try one of these modes of transport! Roller skates are like shoes with wheels. They let you move across the ground. You push your feet to move. It is hard to stand up on skates at first. Hold on to something to help you. Some people race on skates. Some people can even go backwards on skates!
A skateboard is a board with wheels. Some skateboards are for tricks. Some have big wheels. Some have small wheels. Lots of sports use boards. Do you know any other sports with boards?
Surfing is another sport with a board. It goes on the water. It does not go on the ground.
Most boards go sideways. But on a hoverboard you look forward. You lean forward to move. You lean backward to stop. You use your body weight to turn. You don't get tired on a hoverboard. Why? They have motors! You must charge them to use them.
If you want a challenge, try a unicycle! Uni means one. A unicycle is like a bicycle. But it only has one wheel! It is easy to fall off. It takes a long time to learn. Some people have lots of skill.
These modes of transport are all fun. But don't hurt yourself. You must wear a helmet. Do you want to try one? Start slow. Stay safe. Have fun!
