Do you know what art is? Art can be many things.
Painting can be art. Many people love to paint. The Mona Lisa is a very famous painting.
Painting is an old type of art. We used to paint on cave walls. Now we paint on paper.
Sculpting can be art. Many people love to sculpt. The Thinker is a very famous sculpture.
Sculptures are 3D. They can look real. Sculptures can last a long time. We have found lots of old sculptures. They teach us about history.
Drawing can be art. Many people love to draw. There are lots of different styles.
Drawing is easy to start. You only need a pencil and paper. But it takes lots of hard work to be a good drawer.
Photography can be art. Many people love to take photos. People take photos of places they visit. People take photos of people they see.
Lots of people have cameras now. You can use a phone as a camera. It has never been easier to take pictures.
Printing can be art. We can print pictures. We can print patterns. We can even print objects!
Some art is digital. It is done on the computer. Digital art is very different. It does not follow any rules.
You can see art in many places. Sometimes art is in a museum. Sometimes art is outside.
Sometimes art is private. It is not shared. Sometimes art is public. It is shared with everyone.
A person who makes art is called an artist. Anyone can be an artist!
