This sculpture is made from recycled materials that were found along the beach. I used old bottles and bottle caps to create this instalment. In total, it took four garbage bags full of bottles to make the sculpture.
The artist repurposed old lampshades. He took worn and used lampshades and made them into other furniture pieces, like side tables and baskets. He decorated the lampshades with hand-drawn patterns.
A great way to upcycle plastic bags is to weave them together and make a bag. By using colourful bags and a complex weave, you can make beautiful and functional bags to take out!
Old pieces of glass and mirror can be glued together onto a canvas to make a beautiful mosaic. You can also use the little pieces to decorate photo frames and furniture.
