Part One

Look at the following examples:

A: Can you play the piano?

B: Yes, I can.

A: Can you speak French?

B: Yes, I can.

A: Can you play the guitar?

B: No, I can't.

A: Can you speak Japanese?

B: No, I can't.

Work with a partner.  Ask each other if you can do the following things.  Follow the examples above, asking, "Can you..." and answering with, "Yes, I can" or "No, I can't".

a. drive a car?

b. wake up late tomorrow?

c. watch television at school?

d. play volleyball?

e. do yoga?

f. understand French?

g. play hockey?

h. play the violin?

i. go shopping this afternoon?

j. make noise in a library?

k. play soccer?

l. swim well?
