I'm not as old as my brother.

Not As + Adjective + As

This is another way to make comparisons. With this phrase, we do not need to change the form of the adjective. Also, we do not use than:

Today, it isn't as warm as yesterday.

Juice isn't as cheap as water at this cafe.

Canada isn't as big as Russia.

My computer isn't as nice as yours.

Compare the two kinds of comparisons:

Spaghetti is more delicious than soup.

Soup isn't as delicious as spaghetti.

Tokyo is bigger than Toronto.

Toronto isn't as big as Tokyo.

My father is older than my mother.

My mother isn't as old as my father.

We can also say as much / many as:

I don't have as much hair as you.

Chris doesn't have as much money as Jim.

There aren't as many people as I hoped.

I didn't eat as many strawberries as you did.

Like comparative adjectives, we can say me or him, or I am, I do, you are, you did, etc.:

He's not as good as you / you are.

My food isn't as delicious as yours / yours is.

I don't have as many as you / you do.
