Part One

Students work with a partner or a group of 3-4 and discuss answers to the following discussion questions:

  1. What is your favourite thing to do in the summer?
  2. Where were you last week on Friday morning?
  3. What time will you be in class until?
  4. What were you doing at sunrise this morning?
  5. Do you think you will still be in this city in ten years?
  6. How was the weather yesterday?
  7. Have you been studying English for a long time?
  8. What are you going to do tonight?
  9. Did you start class today in the morning, afternoon, or evening?
  10. Is your city nice to visit in August?
  11. Were you sleeping last night at 12 AM? If not, what were you doing?
  12. What do you usually do on your birthday?
  13. Do you work or go to school on Tuesdays?
  14. Did you go anywhere for vacation last year? If so, where did you go?
  15. Where will the Summer Olympics be in 2024?

Part Two

With your partner, try to answer the following questions about Prepositions of Time. Use the discussion questions above to help you with your answers:
