Objectives & Sequence: This lesson is intended to be used as a review of Grammar - Prepositions of Time.

Students work in a group of 3 to 4 and open the corresponding tabs. On each page, students are presented with three discussion questions along with a suggested answer. One at a time, students ask their questions to the group, ensuring that each student answers with the correct preposition of time.

  1. What time did you wake up today? Was it the normal time for you?
    • I woke up at 6 o'clock.
  2. When will you go home today?
    • I will go home at 8 o'clock.
    • I will go home in two hours.
  3. When were you born? Do you like this date?
    • I was born on July 2nd.
  1. When do you take a shower or bath? How often do you take a shower or bath?
    • I take a shower in the morning/at night.
    • I take a shower every day.
  2. When will you do your laundry?
    • I'll do my laundry on Saturday afternoon/tomorrow evening, etc..
    • I'll do my laundry tomorrow evening, etc..
  3. How long did you sleep last night?
    • I slept for 8 hours.
  1. When did/will you finish high school?
    • I finished/will finish high school in 2014/2019, etc..
  2. When do you like to do homework?
    • I like to do homework in the evening.
    • I like to do homework at night.
  3. What time do you usually go to bed?
    • I usually go to bed at 11 o'clock.
  1. Do you know what time you were born?
    • I was born at 7 o'clock.
  2. When are the next four holidays? (1 for each student in your group)
    • The next holiday is on July 4th.
  3. When did you start studying in this class?
    • I started studying in this class in September.
