Sometimes we can use words with 'and' to show similarities between two things. You might want to say something like:

I like pizza. James also likes pizza.

By using words with 'and' we can put those two sentences together neatly.

Using 'and so'

We can use the words 'so' and 'neither' when two things agree or are the same

We use 'so' when the statement is positive.

I like pizza, and so does James.
