Is this right for children who cannot read yet?
Yes. Early Childhood Education starts with phonics, CVC words and sight words. Elementary English One moves on to longer reading books and dialogues, and Elementary English Two completes phonics and begins simple grammar and writing.
Course sequence
Three courses, taught in order
Each course has eight units and builds on the one before. Children move from letter sounds and sight words to reading short books, then to early writing and simple grammar.

What age is English for Children for?
Children aged 6 to 9 who are new to English, with a teacher guiding every activity. Children who can read move on to English for Kids.
In what order are the courses taught?
Early Childhood Education first, then Elementary English One, then Elementary English Two.
Do the courses have CEFR levels?
They sit below and at Pre-A1 on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), in line with Cambridge YLE Starters, and are organised by stage: phonics, early reading, then early writing.
